08SBGL-Emmett, Brian (Sauvignon Blanc)

We love New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, and while it's folly to attempt to recreate an NZ style using Rutherford fruit, we definitely had that style in mind. We wanted to see if we could get some nice tropical and citrus aromas and balance that with a nice, zesty acid. This was bottled recently and has not yet been released, but the intent of this wine is to be enjoyed very young, while it's still lively.
