08PNDO - Ake, Stuart (Pinot Noir)

In 2008, I wanted delve into the Santa Lucia Highlands. Slightly warmer environs and tiny berries has served up a fair amount of fruit. A recent, post malo, tasting revealed plenty of clean red fruit and solid palate weight. Restraint? Not this year, but it isn't over the top and oak takes a backseat.
