Gaps Crown vineyard is a young and promising vineyard near Petaluma
California. The vines are planted so that there are many more vines per
acre compared to the typical Pinot planting in California. This allows
The vineyard manager to hang much less fruit per vine, and still get a
yield that helps them stay afloat financially. The wines we've had from
Gaps Crown are concentrated but the cool growing conditions ensure that
the flavors are not overripe.
