We're back at Grist Vineyard to get a look at how the grapes are coming now that they have almost finished their transition from green to purple. This stage in a grape's life is called veraison. The color change is the visible sign that the vines are switching from pushing green growth to focusing on ripening the fruit that is on the vine. This is also the time when you can tell which clusters are lagging behind, and can make decisions on which clusters to drop as you manage crop load. Warren Burton explains it for us.
