The growing season is moving along, and we're out looking over vineyards to see how things are going. Budbreak is the kickoff to the growing season when the vine pushes out woolly buds that then unfurl and lengthen into fresh green canes. The health of the vine going into the winter plays a big role in determining the potential for that vine the following year. Warren Burton from Grist Vineyard in Dry Creek Valley looks back at the winter and fills us in on what to look for as the season gets rolling.
