Grape growers use any number of devices to protect vines from frost. You can turn on sprinklers to wet the vines, which prevents frost from forming, or the other common method is to use large fans to move the air through the vines, basically pushing the coldest air out and pulling in warmer air. But when those devices don't do the trick, or you're in a vineyard that has no frost protection, the beginning of the growing season can be a stressful time for growers. Warren Burton shows us what frost damage looks like, and how the vines recover.
