I love wine. I realize that many folks prefer one wine over another, but haven't learned to identify what their palate is telling them. I've been one of those folks! In many ways, I still am. Nevertheless, I gather a group of six people to my home twice monthly to blindly compare and score six wines, each of the same varietal. We all learn a lot, we have fun, and I blog the results. As a product of all this worthwhile activity, I'm more ready than ever to venture into blending, if not actual outright get-my-feet-wet winemaking.
