When fever for wine combined with a fervor to live on the west coast, I sold the record collection and bid adieu to New York City. For the next years, I dedicated myself to teaching. However, there was always a put-it-off-til-next-year plan that I'd trade in the textbooks for fermentation tanks. Crushpad became the catalyst that enabled me to swap 12-hour teaching days for keep-the-grapes-a-comin' harvest days.
To cover thinning hair, I currently wear several hats at Crushpad: handling Wine Education, hosting blending sessions, and dabbling with writing, marketing and production. (I'd be happy to help with design, accounting and technology too... but they've politely pointed out I have absolutely no talent for color, numbers or code).
