I am trying to start making my own wine in Phoenix Arizona. I know, I know, the heat. Well, I am taking that into account with a temperature controlled area. My question is, I want to get some grapes from the Northern California area, how would I go about doing this? Would shipping be a killer. Just wondering if anyone has done this sort of thing before.

I am looking into the same thing, but I think it might be more reasonable to work with some growers in the southern part of arizona.
