Friend Functionality - 12/23/2008

Crushnet users can now befriend each other. Friends are displayed on a user's profile page.

To add a friend, simply search for a user using people search interface and click on the "Add to Friends" link or, when viewing their profile page click on "Add to Friends" in the Action menu at the top right of their Profile page.

New Names for Group Roles - 12/15/2008

In preparation for some big changes on the horizon, we've changed the names of the group roles. For now, nothing has changed about the roles except for their names:

• Primary Leaders -> Head Winemakers
• Leaders -> Winemakers
• Participants -> Members

Head Winemakers and Winemakers are collectively known as the "Winemaking Team" to distinguish them from ordinary "Members".

Next Steps for Wines - 12/4/2008

Group Leaders (and Primary Leaders) will see a new "Next Steps" section on their Personal Home Page (the default Crushnet page when you login). Next Steps Items tell you what decision or action you need to take with respect to the wine you are making.

Each wine that you are making will have a new "Next Steps" tab that will take you to the Wine Next Steps page for that wine. The wine's Next Steps page will show you all of the active Next Steps for that wine as well as a History of all of the Next Steps that you have already acted on.

If you are making multiple wines, you will see a consolidated list of Next Steps for all of your wines in the Next Steps section of your Personal Home Page.

Allocations at the Bottle Level - 12/4/2008

Allocations are now measured in (750mL) bottles. Previously they were measured by the case.
