Mike and Teela Ridgeway planted Pinot Noir just west of Petaluma CA, and the many soil types on the property are all starved for moisture in most years. These dry conditions produce fruit that is very concentrated, and packs a bold ripe cherry profile with mineral and spice to balance it all out.
There are five different clones planted in rolling benchland blocks that range up to 800 ft. The vines are cane pruned, and the Ridgeways are moving towards Biodynamic farming practices.
Nestled in amongst the vineyards on the property are 1,200 olive trees making this a beautiful property to visit.
